There’s a backstory behind this one.

Basically... when I sketched him, years, YEARS ago, I had no clue what things were even about or who he was. I never watched Batman, nor played the games. It was purely influenced by a person I used to spend time with, who was very much into this whole Batman stuff, especially the games. So - he wanted me to 'draw/design' an unmasked Scarecrow in my own way, suggesting things like "He should be scrawny, messy, nerdy, wear glasses" and leaving the rest to me. I picked auburn (not even knowing he is a redhead in BTAS, too, just different shade 😂), fairly long, messy hair for him as well as the silvery-blue eyes.

Re-sketched him recently, just for fun, and because he plays a rather important role in one of my future stories. Nostalgic... He's very different from all the Cranes I am now familiar with, but... somehow I still like this one more than the original, BTAS one.
