After the very sportive motifs of the past few Festive Pictures which adorn my Christmas Cards each year, I thought it was time for a more pensive moment. No more sports, but more eating and drinking and - as I am enjoying the first white Christmas in ages - more snow. This time in the big city opposing to all those Swiss-Mountain landscapes I had going the other years.

As usual, nothing really Christmas related, but rather Winter related. The city is exceptionally magical with a lot of snow. Blistering white, hardly any traffic and people move about slowly and cautiously. Time seems to slow down. If you do belong to those unfortunate ones, who have to go outside to clear the pavements, then you welcome a nice warm drink or a cake... hence the dreadful pun of a title!
