I finally finished this ;w; I’m so happy I could cry so about two weeks ago my therapist asked me something and when I sat and really thought about it….well no wonder I was in a slump!
So I havnt made a just for me fully finished drawing without like partners or friends since 2019!
Recently I’ve had a rough time, from broken bones to being stood up at an airport by my now ex to just last week having to put my kitty down.
In true fashion as an Ash ( that is my irl name, and has been since birth) I’ve been playing Pokémon shield religiously. As, though people will let me down, my team never will. It’s my comfort game, my safe space. Honestly if you get me going can talk about the Pokémon universe for HOURS. And DONT GET ME STARTED ON MY PERSONAL SHIELD ADVENTURE as I very much play with the same mentality as Jadien Animations.
So I’ve been working on this c: and honestly I havnt been this happy and self pleased in a very very long time.
Let me introduce you to my gang! First we got Indica, she’s my slowpoke and became my best friend right out the gate, which is surprising as I’ve never liked slowpokes much. She’s chill though, and surprisingly STRONG! She is first on my team and since I met her really is the enforcer of the group. Then we got Chamber my salandit! She has always been a bit nervous, however after her first few fights she won my heart, or maybe I won hers? She’s not the strongest but boy she will not go down, without fail it seems she wants to tough it out for me to slide in that one last hit. I appreciate that kind of endurance and dedication in a soul. And finally. We have fucking Jack, my pumpkaboo. He’s the lovable idiot of the team, mostly thinking about camping as he seems to be food OBSESSED. Which as you can see here he clearly got into the berries before my curry was done >:u I swear I gotta shake twice as many trees just because of this dingus. However though not the brightest lantern at times he always shines through when it matters most; as he is 98 percent space-cadet, but that last two percent is TERRIFYING!
