Sometime I'll have to draw them with their cargo saddle (or backpack, or whatever you'd call it on a critter like this) and sled full of wares. I figure they'd be some sort of friendly wandering trader (and possibly make deliveries between villages as well, especially if it's along their usual routes) and that might be interesting for world-building purposes as an excuse to describe their homeworld in more detail.
(Ventranna is Space Alaska--it's perpetually cold and snowy, all the fauna has a six-legged body plan, and the flora is more like fungi and lichens than plant-like.)

What you gonna do with all that stuff, all that stuff under that fluff?
It does make me wonder, just like dogs, how much of that bulk is the animal themselves and how much is just fur and fluff--given these guys live in a very cold climate, long fluffy fur would come in handy, but so would a nice insulating layer of fat.
It's probably fluff *over* fat in their case, though...
