For several years in the early 1970's, a local TV station (WCCO-TV, Minneapolis) would broadcast the animated feature Gay Purr-ee every Christmas Eve day as their afternoon movie. It's one of my favorite Holiday memories. So to commemorate that I'm uploading this bit of fan art of the film's main character, Mewsette.
And now, I'm off to watch it again on DVD. Enjoy, and Happy Holidays!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.
It's one of my favorites, too. Gay Purr-ee is probably one of the few animated musicals where the music is as good, if not better, than the film. I would go out of my way to watch it every time it was broadcast.
I really like that UPA house style and you certainly picked a great source of inspiration.
