Regthar and Esteban. Are you ok?
This is a scene from the first book, Sunset in Amistad, after the young human Esteban is confronted by Brend and Regthar defends him. There are other Renzar characters in the scene, but I don't have the ability to draw them all.
The Renzar are ursinoid aliens belonging to the Chakat Universe created by Bernard Doove.

One of the ways I learned to draw was through tracing and always having the reference beside me at all times. Or for computer, turning random internet images into paper dolls and combining them into making a scene.

Yes, using references helps a lot. I rarely use references. And this drawing, I did without references. Maybe I should use them.
Brend is another Renzar fighter. He is a guy, very aggressive and tries to attack the human. But luckily, Regthar punches him and…the scene is in the story.
