In the early afternoon streets of the downtown core of a city, two young women had stood on the sidewalk, staring at the recently renovated nightclub right across the street. The nightclub had 8 refurbished Floors, with the Main Floor being the main area for fun and entertainment. The front of the building was decorated with new neon lighting that was currently turned off, and several turned off spotlights pointing to the main icon of the building, the Playboy Logo and the newly added “Bunny” neon sign. It was the Club Bunny nightclub.


Seeing the Logo and sign, Yoko felt nervous despite being accompanied by her friend Rat. For her, this was the place where life took a massive shift. The same place where she finally grew fed up with how her friends and teammates Jinx, AJ, and Woods had treated her. But most of all, this was the last place she had seen them before storming off, and running away from her home.


Yoko: I can’t believe it. I’m right back here. Where everything changed.


Rat: Yeah, and now you’re back to get your second shot at things. At least this time you don’t have to deal with that douchebag agent who was a real dick to you in front of your friends after what you told me. So relax, things are gonna be different.


Yoko: You have a point there.


Rat: Exactly. That and because if I learn you chickened out, I’m kicking you out.


Yoko: Wait what-


Rat: Alright then! First things first. We gotta get into the right attire.


With the decision final, and dodging what she just said to Yoko, the two of them crossed the street and began to make their way to the building next door, a specialty clothing shop. As the two of them entered the store, Yoko could only look in amazement, while Rat could only grin at Yoko’s expression. All around them, racks of special clothes filled the entire store. This ranged from custom dresses, uniquely coloured tailor suits, and special uniforms for a specific occupation. And for Yoko and Rat’s case, they easily spotted the rack section they were looking for, which was the rack full of Playboy Bunny suits.


Yoko: There we go. The Bunny suits.


Rat: Time to try some on.


Taking several Bunny suits at random from the racking, Yoko and Rat made their way to the change rooms, as the Doggirl cashier watched them. Inside the change rooms, Yoko and Rat began to try out bunny suits. The first one Yoko tried on the first one she got. The outfit was really bright in colour and it came with a cute hairclip, but the problem for her was that it was light pink, and it wasn’t the Playboy Bunny outfit she was looking for.


Yoko: No this isn’t the one I need for the audition today. But it does look cute though.


With her tryout done for the outfit, Yoko began to take it off, getting the next one on. But right next door to Yoko, Rat tried out the one she had gotten from the racking. But when she looked at herself when trying it on, she could only look at herself trying it on with disgust. The outfit she put on wound up being a clothing combination that included a long sleeve shirt, a black skirt, and a pair of bunny ears that were torn in a few spots and patched together with different material.


Rat: Whoever thought putting these together to make an outfit for this has no eye in taste.


Not wanting to wear it a second longer, Rat took off the outfit as fast as she could, getting the next one she picked out. As Rat was doing this, Yoko put on the second outfit she grabbed, and looked at herself in the mirror. The second outfit had a pair of bunny ears and a set of stocking to wear, but the stocking weren’t the correct ones, and the outfit was a light purple dress. She had found the colour she was looking for, but it was the wrong outfit.


Yoko: Well, the colour matches me. But not the outfit I need.


Moving on to the next outfit, Yoko began to take it off, ready for the third one to be the right one. After a few more tryouts with the outfits, Yoko and Rat came out of the change rooms wearing what they had on before entering in, but in their hands, they picked out an outfit they were going to buy. As Yoko was beginning to put away what she took and was returning it to the racking, Rat sneakily dumped what she hated trying out at the bottom of the racking, tossing them in a messy pile.


Yoko: Okay. I got the outfit to wear for the audition. What did you find?


Rat: Nothing special. Went for the same thing you were getting. Wouldn’t mind trying out the auditions for the heck of it.


Yoko: Well, that’s unexpected to hear from you. I thought you said you weren’t going to get another job again.


Rat: Things are different this time. You’re trying out for the job. I am bored. So it works out.


Yoko: How does that work out to you trying-


????: Hey!!!


Being interrupted in their conversation, Yoko and Rat turned to see who just shouted. And as they turned, they saw the cashier of the store, holding up two Playboy Bunny outfits, and looking pretty annoyed.


Cashier: Are you two just going to talk and make a mess like blonde Missy did here?! Or are you two going to buy something?!


Realizing she was found out about dumping the clothes on the floor, Rat knew they needed to buy their outfits and leave.


Rat: Alright we’re buying these! Geez. You talk to your customers like this……


Looking at the name tag, Rat saw it the cashier’s name was Tammy.


Rat: “Tammy”? Cause that explains why nobody is here.


Tammy: No, I don’t. Only to those who make a mess.


Rat: Well, we’re here to buy these outfits. So don’t get your panties in a knot.


With a tang of annoyance and anger building up inside of Tammy, she proceeded to go to the cash register to make the sale for Rat and Yoko, all while doing her best to not snap in ager at Rat’s remark. With the outfit’s purchased, the two friends left the store, as Yoko could only sigh in relief at what Rat had just done.


Yoko: I really thought we were gonna get kicked out for sure right there.


Rat: Ah lighten up. Considering nobody was around, she couldn’t just kick us out without losing a lot of profit in the process. It all worked out for us.


Yoko: Oh boy…


Not wanting to dwell any longer on what had transpired, Yoko began to focus at the task at hand; make it to the audition and get the job.
