I desperately needed to get something finished before the end of the year, so Christmas Day seems to be quite appropriate, so here I am at my desk in the early morning finishing this off!
I started tweaking this about a week ago, and after many hours spent over several nights, I ended up redoing everything. Nothing has been left untouched. I fixed up the anatomy, especially his head, I adjusted his pose, added extra details to the skin, as well as fine scale patterns in many places, redrew the background and adjusted all the colors to get a full dynamic range.
I only ever submit work that I'm proud of, and I raise my standards each time I submit something, but since I'm not really improving as an artist, it takes me a lot longer to tweak things until I'm happy with it. Thank goodness for digital! Critiques are still very welcome.

You've certainly upped the realism with this upgrade! Everything from the fine details of the scales, to the shading and lighting, as well as posture, proportions, and anatomy seem much improved! Your representation of the light source seems quite accurate, and Antonio has a sexy glow on his side facing the sun! For some reason, the details in the tail really stick out for me. I think you did a great job on there, as well as his cute snout and head! And then there's his murrtastic chest and arms! Then there's dem legs and feet! ARG, he's just great all over! XD
One of the best modifications in my opinion is him having an extra claw covering his crochood! What's he so ashamed of if he's taking a nude pic? Did anyone tell him it was a nude beach? Keke!
Next time you take a picture of him at the beach, have those wrists cuffed behind his back! -.=.^

Thanks buddy! I'm glad you noticed all the little improvements that I made... I lost track of how much time I spent on it but I believe it was worth it, especially on such a handsome gator.
Antonio definitely hasn't got anything to be ashamed about, but he is a pretty modest guy when posing for the camera, and modest guys are simply adorable. Also, in this fantasy world, I reckon any beach can be a nudist beach if he wants it to be!
Oh Sabre, you are such a naughty dragon. And I approve. ^..- I agree that a cuffed and exposed Antonio would be even more fun to watch and record. You just need to trick him into them first!
