This is Bluemoon, one of my oldest characters along with Wintersong! In the series, he is one of the last shapeshifters in the world, and becomes one of Wintersong’s closest friends after some time. Although in the beginning he was pretty annoyed at her endless curiosity and stubbornness. But that never changed, really... He just came to admire it as well.
He has certain forms he can transform to easier than others - like lion, wolf, otter and more - but his fur/scales always remains black. He was brought up by criminals that took him in, so he does not think kindly of the world - but at least they always stuck with stealing, never to harm another.
