A moment's respite. Under the cover of darkness and with the help of a friend, Mura had slipped away from Astella. Her previous life forfeit, a new life of exile loomed on the horizon. The woods surrounding the city shrouded the raptor's movement, shaking any who followed.
Hours later, Mura arrived at a small clearing with a small waterfall and river signifying the borders of Astella with the Shattered Mountains - the unknown that lay beyond. Dawn's glow illuminating the horizon beyond the towering mountain. It's light slowly covering the stars on the fabric of night, and illuminating the valley below. A gust of wind blew through the valley, causing Mura to shake as it ruffled her fur and feathers.
Resolute, Mura contemplated the next steps forward. Steps into an uncertain future~
