fff this is why i like digital art, you can do so much more with it

i posted this side by side to show how subtle changes can really change the overall mood of a piece.

but then i was like
ya know if i get rid of the blood and give him a smile then this would be a pleasant piece of link enjoying a refressing rain shower.
so that is what i did along with making eponas eyes more bright and wide, moving her ears forward since angled back generally shows a negative emotion, adding some more blue to the sky and toning down the shadows a bit.
