More experimenting, I guess, but this time with a lot more care taken to make something decent in the process.
Over the course of Urakai, Dylan and company wind up flung to the bottom of a lake, where Annel's recently awakened powers keep them intact, but their path forward is across the bottom of Lake Arnia.
Whereas I generally get random song ideas and apply them to the situations needed, this time around I set out to make something befitting that specific situation: you're stuck at the bottom of a lake, and need to move forward to get out. It's a foreign place, light flickering from above and emitting from strange stones scattered about as seaweed and wildlife flutter about.
This stopped me from using the same motifs I tend to hide in a lot of the Urakai/HP music, so while it's a bit brief it's also devoid of me mish-mashing song bits in my head together, instead composed more on the fly to match the situation in my head. I also tried texturing with a synth again and put a pass on the percussion to try and lend to the atmosphere a bit, since that's a department I'm generally lacking in.
Feedback is appreciated. :) Lots of different things I'm trying this time, wanna know how well they've worked out.

Oh ffffffffffffffffffffffffff...
How the hell did I miss this upload?! I'm really fortunate to have stumbled back across this when I did. Your stuff is incredibly inspirational to me, and this is no exception. I love the soft, watery sounds 'flowing' around this song. It's got a very calm sound to it, which is befitting of deep water. This might be my favorite one of yours yet. It's also very professional sounding. Digging the minimalist percussion.

Yeh, this one seems to have been going over well.
