I had corona a while back and drew this after getting bored of just lying on the couch. Been a while since I did 2d stuff.
Anyways,
You're in the eyes of some rookie town guard (very low to the ground, you're probably crouching :P ) who was sent after a lone skaven caught stealing food in the town. It managed to escape from the other guards but they managed to hit it few times, so they decided to send you after it on your own to prove your worth and bring back its head. It ran towards abandoned nearby settlement. You walk there and find it passed out in a pile of hay with its ruined shirt hanging open, clearly showing that this one is a female skaven. (Which obviously exist) You poke it with your (metal) spear. She wakes up startled and as you prepare to kill her, she suddenly spreads her legs and offers herself to you, begging to let her live. Surprised by this you can't help but to wonder "What would Sigmar do?" After pondering about it for a while you decide to poke her with your...
(A) metal spear, killing her or
(B) the one attached to you, filling her and letting her go or
(C) both, one way or another, gotta get her head after all. And nobody will know what you did.
(D) return without doing anything
(E) take her to your home and treat her wounds and have your very own always in heat female skaven.
This "poll" is mostly just for fun. I might make some continuation to this pic someday though. I like drawing skaven even though my anatomy skills are still kinda lacking. But gotta draw more to get better. :)
Bigger version for all tiers here: https://subscribestar.adult/posts/741164 there's some newer stuff as well :)

I do not believe in people being evil by default... But absolutely can believe in a community that is rotten from top to bottom.
So you know what? Even if she was a two-faced self-serving rat, I'd still be willing to bet it would only take a few days of cooked meals, beds with sheets, soap and sanitation to realize that betraying the human's trust would be foolish and eventually become just like a human (albeit one who needs to comb her arms and is horny more often).

Well yeah I don't really like the way warhammer races are so clearly good or evil and all skaven are evil etc. (and I also don't like how they came up with stupid ways of reproduction for many races instead of having actual females. ) Tbh I'd find it interesting if they made a game where you're playing as a good skaven in evil skaven society trying to escape before you're killed or something :)
Oh, I would absolutely do E.
#1: Offer to treat her wounds and make sure she doesn't have any weapons on her as I'm checking them.
#2: Sit with her, hug her, pet her, assure her it'll be okay, and promise to take care of her if she never disturbs the peace again.
#3: Tell her to wait there while I return to my post and say whatever it takes to get the others off my back. Work out in my head how I'm going to get her home and keep her hidden until the end of my shift.
#4: Head back once it's all settled, and if she's still there, take her home, give her a hot meal and whatever else she needs, then crawl under the covers and spoon her until she falls asleep. Because I'm a romantic (or at least someone who can keep his boner in check for a few days while she adjusts and settles in).

If she made it through all of those steps (didn't attack me during #1 or #2, didn't run away before #4), then yes, I believe she absolutely will be.
If she's the honest type, she'll be grateful and loyal to the human who took such risk to show her such kindness. And if she's the two-faced type, she'll only have waited for me because she realized this is a golden opportunity and it is absolutely in her best interest to play grateful and loyal for as long as possible.
I don't need to know which. Keep a con going long enough and you might forget it was a con. Even if she does intend to use and dump me, I have confidence I can keep it going long enough that she completely forgets her initial loyalty was feigned.

Step #5: Save up my money so I can leave the town and become a hermit.
Which, knowing me, I probably would have been doing already anyway.
I find living in close proximity to others, and being required to suffer the presence of others (IE: jobs that require face-to-face interaction) irritating even at the best of times. I can't imagine how horrible living in civilization would be without an internet into which I can escape for a little while every night.

(F) Put on an evil crown and lose my mind.
Oh, you meant what USEFUL thing would Sigmar do!
Well, that's clearly (E). She's wounded, she has only a broken weapon, and she's crying. I'm not stabbing that with a spear, thank you very much. I will most likely keep her secured tightly back home for safety reasons, though. Who knows, she might like that.

Yeah tbh attacking someone in such state would be kinda rude. But sadly every "lore friendly" guard would just kill her there. But even if you'd save her, keeping her out of trouble could prove difficult. Unless she's always chained in your basement I suppose. That would also be kinda rude though. :P
I say E but add stipulations. The first stipulation would be she is to stay. This way she doesn't get in trouble and she has to stay with me for the reasons of well her not getting killed and two out of a loyalty.
This way I know she's not going to turn around and basically try to kill me in my sleep or anything of that nature.
The second stipulation would be I don't want her to leave after I've taken care of her and also to help her to change her ways. More or less a giving her a chance to better herself and to show that she can have a better life

A or D, cautious type.
You never know what would happen, plus you're a newbie/rookie guard.
The skaven has the still usable broken dagger, sharp teeth, claws... can still injure/kill you anytime, desperate to live so she'll use anything.
B or C could be risky because mentions above, she can choose to injure/kill you any time while you're doing your thing...

Option D... I'll tell her that she owes me and I'll take her little bell..
Option A if will start brawling (behave badly), If she has a conscience, she will come home to you herself, then option E, if she needs more, then B. I don't use option C because it contradicts D. I'll tell the chief of the guard thing that she ran away. And since I'm a rookie, I won't be punished much. Therefore, everything is thought out.

So for me it be a mix of E and D. And sadly not in the fun way. Use our spear to toss the danger aside and tell her if she trys anything funny you and your "friends" will end her. Take the time to check her over. See what wounds she has and if she has any other weapons. Then take her somewhere safe. Not home. Clean her up and fix her said wounds up. One done, give her something to drink, eat and tips on some places she can hide. Do all this before she can get up and do anything and leave. As leaving leave hint on were she can find you if she needs you. This all sounds a bit meen but she IS a skaven. Can't be too careful with them. If she comes alooking and still what to go. Then we'll see.
