How was it following the pattern? Ive never seen head patterns like that and im super curious now.

The pattern gives you the basic blocky shape to start carving from. It will basically give you the starting point for getting fit right on your head, and alignment of the eyes, etc. (It also assumes that you have a lifesize bust to build off) The rest is pretty much up to you. It was my first time doing this, and it took me weeks to get to this point. It's quite a lot of slow refining and staring from multiple angles, and often cutting and re-gluing parts. I'm sure it gets much easier with experience, like anything. X3

Are there different cross section or silhouette views to follow? Or is it really just giving the structure then "carve to taste"?
