又西三百五十里，also Three hundred and fifty miles west,
曰天山，there is Sky Mountain
多金玉，rich in gold, jade
有青雄黃。and also cyan arsenic sulfide. (the rock of manliest yellow.)

英水出焉，the hero river comes out there
而西南流注于湯谷。and southwest flows out to the seething gulley.

有神焉，there is a spirit thence,
其狀如黃囊，having a shape like a golden sac,
赤如丹火，but their body is cinnabar red,
六足四翼，six-legged, four-winged,
渾敦無面目，they are a Muddle, featureless,
是識歌舞，who knows song and dance,
實惟帝江也。and in fact they are the lone ruler of the Great Yangtze River.
