Glyph and Sigil were adopted by different families when they lived at the orphanage. Glyph was adopted by a family of rabbits and Sigil was adopted by a family of weasels. Both families come together for Thanksgiving.
Glyph's mom, Muriel, and three of his sisters, Summer, Winter and Spring came over for the holidays. Muriel is doing double duty - helping with the food in one hand and holding Rho in the other, unable to resist picking up her cutest grandchild, determined to make sure the smallest of the pups is well fed. Chi is clinging to her grandma because she has food. Glyph is trying to convince his mom that she doesn't have to do all the work. Winter, who has social anxiety, seems to always get the most attention from the kids. Although she's super happy to be around family being confronted by three pups at once is a lil bit stressful. They can smell fear. Sigma is even trying to show auntie Winter his paper turkey he made. While Nu is just soaking up all the attention she is getting from her aunts Summer and Spring.
Sigil's mom, Ethel, seems to have been the only one from her family that showed up this year. Ethel has a stretchy past but loves to spoil her grand kids none the less, showering them with money when they tell her she is their favorite grandma. Omega especially loves grandma Ethel because every time she comes to visit she teaches him a new bad word. This year she taught him the word "dork". Sigil clearly thinks Ethel is a bad influence on Omega and gives her a harsh "please stop mom" glare.
Even Cinnamon came back this year, the little fluff ball on the table, in another desperate attempt to get eaten by the family for the holidays.
