One of my favorite villians from Brian Jacques Redwall series, made her appearance in the book Triss along with a couple of other pretty cool characters who I might get art of at a later date. I was kinda disappointed with how Brian killed her off in the book, think her death could have been a handled a bit better.

not entirely true, Bluggat the Rat and Durp the Vole were not what you would consider typical members of their species. There was a shrew in Marlfox who's name I can't remember that killed Log-a-log early on in the book that naturally can't be considered a woodlander, plus Romsca the Ferret in Pearls of Lutra who died protecting the Abbot during a mutany on her ship. And naturally you can't really forget Tsarmina Greeneye's brother Gingivere in Mossflower. There have been a few exceptional characters from each species that have come into play throughout the series.
the series got repetative, personally my favorites were always Marlfox, Long Patrol, Mariel of Redwall, Rakkety Tam, High Rhulian, Pearls of Lutra, and Taggerung. Of all the books they were the most fast paced and had some of the best characters, I kinda stopped reading the series after High Rhulian though I'm tempted to read Doomwyte since it deals with another of Gonff's descendents.
I personally think Triss should have run her through as an ending, that would have given me so much satisfaction; also I wish Princess Kurda had done the same to Plugg to end his life. I loved this book, I just didn't like how the deaths were handled.
As for the drawing I love it Princess Kurda is gorgeous.

Nice job on her! I gotta agree with you on her death, a bit of a let down. Rather anti-climactic for such a high profile villain. It's been a while since I've read it, but didn't Triss kick her body and start pouting about how her revenge was stolen from her? I had to chuckle to myself a little bit while reading and picturing a teenage female squirrel holding Martin's sword acting all whiny.
I have to track this artist down; she did a good job.
Also, yeah, I think Kurda had more potential in Triss, even if only as Triss's personal bugbear. I think the final fight would've been a lot more interesting if Triss had to do it partly shaking in her boots from all the times she'd been used as a practice dummy, gradually overcoming that before finally defeating her and definitively moving past her fears.
