Even though I think metamorphic/shape-shifter-y latex creatures and abilities are super hot, especially with how you've done them here [love the naga-ish bodyshape in the back, and all the tendrils].

But! The creepiness and the seeming intent of it being someone going insane with power really shines through and tempers that 'hotness aspect' so that it's more of a mixture of both alluring and frightening.

A very well written description and I'm flattered you find this particular piece enticing yet intimidating.

As for what inspired this idea, I had been wanting to explore the more unsettling, even terrifying aspect of Latex for quite a while now. It's used rather heavily in Horror Film industry as you can make some uncanny prosthetics from it. A Rubbermancer could be every bit as horrifying as they are erotic when you think about it, maybe even both simultaneously.

What's an example of a latex-based horror prosthetic? :>

The first that come to mind would be the fake injury makeup that can create some rather gruesome and life-like wounds and disfigurements on actors, a must if you want to look like a decaying Zombie. The numerous latex masks used to transform an actor's face into one that is uncannily inhuman, monstrous and eerily realistic to an untrained eye are another good example. This article elaborate a little more on that point.

Hell; Even the Xenomorph costume from the first film at least and the various, terrifying forms of The Thing all had Latex heavily involved in their construction. As kinky as a Rubbermancer could be, they could also get very far in the film industry as they're pretty much the ultimate Costume Designer/Makeup Artist. If you are also made out of Latex on top of that, you could even terrorize some Antarctic researchers with a decent chance of getting Flamethrowers and Dynamite to the face (though that might not be a good thing).

When you think about all its applications, Rubbermancy is a very versatile; I'd argue overpowered ability.
