Rodent figured the dragon had more than enough treasure to spare one small item. So, while the dragon was asleep, the rat tried to help himself to something. Waking up, the dragon thought it cute that a rat was trying to steal from him. Of course, he thought it even cuter to turn the rat into a pile of ash. :)

I absolutely love how this came out. Aaromus did a beautiful job here. The details to the dragon, along with that malicious, satisfied expression, is simply perfect; and flash-fried Rodent came out looking awesome. I love the charred, blackened look, with the smoke rising up. :)

He also did a fantastic job with the background. The shading and textures giving the cave/lair a wonderful sense of size and depth. Just a fantastic job all around. :D
