It's fifteen years in the furure of AoStH, and the change is evident. With Tails approaching twenty, and Sonic even older, their former friendship has kind of eroded. While Tails, who wishes to be known as Miles, wished to mature, his buddy Sonic was content being the same. This has led to them not seeing each other as much, and seeking new company.
Along with this, Dr. Robotnik has become less of a threat, his weekly conquests now reduced to just once a year due to his age. This has allowed his former henchmen like Scratch to find more free time to do what they wish. This has led to a quite interesting friendship with a former enemy, though neither hold resentment to the other for past transgressions.
They meet every Friday night at a local bar, to discuss their lives and the goings on of Mobius. Recently, Miles has entered into a technical college, wanting to increase his mechanical know how. Scratch, on the other hand, is going steady with the chicken chick he's had feeling for before, and both friends couldn't be happier.
