This techno is called Reductive Drawing.
This was was really interesting to make! You start with a white paper, then use compressed charcoal sticks on sandpaper to made dust and mash an even layer of it into the paper. Once it’s to a good even application, you go in and slowly take away the charcoal to reveal the mid-tones, core shadows, highlights, ect. It was super fun to do in class and I’m still so proud of what I was able to do.
