The odd thing is that this falls in line with particularly his eyes, I've rarely ever seen a rabbit with noticeable eye colors that are not very very dark colors that make them look jet black.

And important question:
Do the ears flop both normally and if you were to shake your head? -v-
Can you also somehow use them to hit someone like you would a punch?

mostly brown, dark brown, some can have red eyes, but those are albinos and sport white fur.

As with Eternal taking the form of a raven, there's all manner of superstitions, legends and myths associated with rabbits so it's another appropriate form for him. I imagine this might be a form he'd take if he was visiting the world of Usagi Yojimbo, so perhaps particularly he'd have an association with the moon and dreams and mysteries.

Red eyes contrasting with the black fur, so perhaps appearing a little sinister at first glance though as fluffy and adorable as any other bunny. Though maybe it would be his luck that he'd find himself in the sort of misadventures where he'd be tied up or if in the world of Usagi Yojimbo perhaps he'd find himself in the company of the wandering samurai, maybe after occasionally being mistaken for him.
