Originally posted on Oct. 25, 2020, this is the first of many Pokemon Mystery Dungeon fanart pieces I've made since then. In this artwork, my original character named Fayola Santana realizes she's become a Pikachu.

In the foreground stands a female Pikachu holding its hands up with a shocked expression on its face. This Pikachu is surrounded by green words forming the question "I'm a Pokémon?". Behind Pikachu is also a waist-up drawing of a black female child character with a similar pose and expression as the Pokémon in front of her. Between the two shines a bursting, white light source, and behind them is an abstract background made of wavy shapes in varying shades of lime- to tea-green.
