Hi all. Perhaps for you these 4 days flew by unnoticed, and I had no electricity, no mobile communications, no Internet. Today (now) I finally got access to the Internet and then it turns out that persecution and harassment began on me on Twitter. . I closed the page. I don't want every passer-by to throw mud at me, I have the right to do so. All because I have two familiar Russian artists. Perhaps, because of this news, your attitude towards me will also change, because I am from Ukraine and I communicate with people who live in another country and there is a war between our countries. But those people are my only friends, those who helped me survive in difficult times for me, when the country had not yet had a full-scale invasion. If it wasn't for them, I don't know what would have happened to me... First of all, I'm a person.
In general, I try to survive both mentally and physically. I try to work, draw because I have to. I have to feed and provide for not only myself, but also my family.... I hope we will see a peaceful sky someday.
Creativity is my life.
I will be glad for any of your support. At least just words, if I still deserve it...

You don't deserve the harassment, the hate. You absolutely don't. You deserve to thrive.
Because I'm part of a pretty large company within the furry community, I have met SO many amazing Ukrainian and Russian artists over the past two years. I've become really close to many of them, too. I've watched Ukrainian artists lose communication ability on Discord, and we've just... sat and prayed they would be okay. I've watched Russian artists despair as their tyrannical president leads their country down the path of utter financial isolation, robbing them of their livelihood while their friends like you are being oppressed by that same madman. I've watched some of them wonder if they'll be sent to die for a war they hate, or be arrested for even a whisper of protest.
Please, lift your head high. Know that you are *right* to hold those friendships dear, and that the people harassing you are simply wrong.

Please, lift your head high. Know that you are *right* to hold those friendships dear, and that the people harassing you are simply wrong.
You deserve more... much more. And certainly not persecution in your direction. You are a wonderful person and a wonderful artist, there are still more good people and they will support you. And these empty-mouthed people will spit poison and forget, but life is harsh and they will still feel guilty for what they said. Maybe not now and not in a few years, but conscience will take its toll.
For starters, Twitter is its own animal and lives in its own little diluted world. There is much more out there in the world, and Twitter can't hope to represent that. On top of that, there are so many people (some with bots) trying to push some agenda and it makes Twitter near useless for getting good info. (doubly so now after what Musk has done) You can even look this up, a minority of users on Twitter dictate the general trending content on there, so those 'passers by' throwing mud at you are likely bots or human drones vomiting up whatever is told to them.
A bit of a hot take, but not everyone in each county hates the other side. The war wasn't started because the population of Russia, as some whole, hated Ukraine; it is because of some overly confident politician tried to grab more power. I'm glad that you have people you care about in Russia, because it shows that you haven't falling for the propaganda and hate and want to treat good people like humans.
