This here is an absolutely amazing art work from  reycovert, and I must say that is is extremely impressive and awesome!

I really love the pose that they managed to do that I picked out, and the background really make the Sun Lion pop out more. The brown stripes on his arms look fantastic, and the eyes came out wonderfully too~

Before you is Liam the Apollomon, whom is my world's Iliad Server God of the sun, member of the remaining few Olympos 12. At 22 feet tall (6.7 meters) not counting that sun-ray construct on his back with floating sun emblem, he is quite the force to be reckoned with! Out of the Olympian Digimon, Liam is actaully the most humble and willing to mingle with the "lesser" Digimon, despite his massive size. Granted he IS a god, so he has a little bit of a god-complex, but it doesn't cloud his judgment very much compared to other ones of the '12. In this alternate world, Liam DID at one point have a human partner long ago before the Olympian Group was even founded; that boy was named "Koh", those of you who played Digimon Story: Sunburst and Moonlight ought to know who Koh is~

The duo adventured and solved the calamityo f darkness that framed the opposing club-group that got blamed, and the pair devolved a deep wonderful bond even after that! Said adventure even introduced him to his "sister" Digimon -Dianamon, the Rabbit God of the Moon; they are not really brother and sister, but the relationship is intriguing between them regardless. Unfortunately as with all good things, Koh perished due ot old age, and Liam was by his side even as they passed away, electing to keep that red bandanna, their digivice and goggles as mementos to remember their beloved human; its kept in a private area of Apollomon's inventory so no one can take it from him.

As time progressed the human world and Digital World of Amaterasu merged, and then several years later Iliad also merged to the human world as well. The Olympos 12 was founded eventually, and Apollo was one of its leading members due to their heroism and knowledge/experience; Dianamon acting as his "second in command" so to speak. Time passed and the Olympians acting more like guardians of Iliad than directly intervening all the time...unless it got super serious. One such serious event occurred when invaders arrived to conquer Iliad Server: Amaterasu Server was suffering an outbreak of X-Antibodies and monstrous creatures that resulted in it too. The Royal Knights and D-Brigade came in waves as the valiant warriors of Iliad came to stand against the incursions. It mostly consisted of Warrior-esque Digimon and mythical types since Iliad is more mythical than technological. The Legendary Warriors (like Agunimon and such), Cherubimon Virtue and others fought bravely, until it was seen that the 12 Olympians would need to step in and finally come to their aid. Thankfully the '12 were VEYR powerful beings, on the Royal Knights were technically weaker than them; God Digimon are above Holy Digimon in my world. The Knights only managed to dispatch Vulcanusmon, Venusmon, Junomon (Jupitermon was spared but committed suicide after not being able to live on without his beloved partner), and Buacchusmon. Only when Magnamon and Omegamon subdued Dianamon, and Alphamon forced Apollomon to yield did the fighting come to a close.

King Yggdrasil arrived and with help of powerful architect programs as well as digimon he designated for such jobs, set out to reformat and "paste" untampered data they'd extracted from their home of Amaterasu into Iliad, along with all the Amaterasu Digis they could save with the ARKs. Unexpectedly Lucemon went mad with insanity after seeing all that carnage and sought to destroy the world and everyone in it, but the remnants of the Olympos 12 were in no shape to fight, the task falling to the Holy Digimon and their servants instead. This conflict gives way to Digimon Frontier in my world, which occurs in Iliad -and explains why compared to the seasons before it, why the lands looks so...barren and lifeless. Takuya and team were journeying through a post war-zone. That also means Xros Wars happens within the Iliad Server in my world ^_^

Liam in this alternate world turns out to be Apollomon from Xros Wars, havign signed on with Bagramon during the Rebellion to get back at Yggdrasil and their regime for all the death and chaos from long ago. Bagramon won of course, however Apollomon didn't think Bagramon was evil at first, only to find out too late...and decided to rebel from within, pretending to work for him and became a Death General. Those who watched Xros Wars or read the manga knows how THAT went ^^;

King Shoutmon (Red) post Xros Wars then resurrects Olegmon and Apollomon, seeing they had not been BAD digimon, more like forced to be bad. This resurrection purged all the data of Apollomon Whispered from Liam's code, but resulted in his eyes becoming Hazel, and those self-inflicted scratch marks became brown stripes on his arms instead, signifying a "New Him". He is of course indebted to King Shoutmon and Taiki for having helped and saved him as a result ^^

Eventually he does meet Grei Shoutmon, and through trials and "questing" of sorts, considers them as a friend...only to find out that Grei had been Alphamon long ago, the very same Royal Knight that had subdued him in that last battle and also had lead that very invasion of Iliad so long ago! However rather than hold a grudge, Liam saw Alphamon was...different and wanted to atone for their past sins, deciding to help them too. In addition, Grei's *ahem* strongest form is also a massive Digital Hazard that could destroy the Digital World and Human world if allowed...and Apollomon takes it upon himself to ensure that never happens...watching this Shoutmon and stepping in when they need to help.

As for Liam's evolutionary line is goes: Sunmon>Coronamon>Leomon>Flaremon>Apollomon. He doesn't have the four-legged Lion form, because I wanted to have Liam's "Humanoid Lion Monster" theme consistent.

Now Liam has a few special abilities, but one in particular is the agility to utilize the abilities of other digimon he's absorbed and integrated/assimilated to his body and coding. In addition he can even take those abilities or moves, and fuse them with his own moves/typing across all his forms, creating new attacks -making even more powerful!
