Good to have self-confidence though.

I know that talking smack about Star’s sneaking skills is the thing to do, but this really wasn’t a sneaking fail at first.

This was bad timing. Star went into the kitchen to get Bob right before Ella went to get some water and was surprised to see Star, exposed diaper and all already there. Star passing through the hall didn’t seem to alert Elly to her presence.

Now, the attempt to sneak back to her room was a handful of 1s, no doubt about that. Her die pool for Stealth seems pretty low, and the noisy diaper and Bob’s jingling increased the difficulty check to probably 9 or 10, so there’s no way she’s making that.

If anything, Star botching the Stealth roll to get back to her room helped since all the noise she was causing (not helped by talking to herself) let Elly know she was safe in her room, so the coast was clear to get that glass of water.
