As she passed you could have sworn she flexed her hips back at you, tightening up her butt. As she started down the street, you excused yourself from your friends, saying something about needing to use the restroom. Everyone seemed to know a perfectly good one was the other way, but you insisted that you knew where you were going.
Her eye would catch yours when she turned a street. Three or four corners later you were at the center of the parade and they paused for a minute. The crowd below cheered at the balloon, and they waved the arms and head around giving it a bit of life that no one else seemed to know she already had.
You took the chance to get ahead and watch her approach again, her eyes and smile lit up more by the adulation of the crowd before she spied you and you could definitely see the shift in her gaze. Once she had passed again, her tail tip curled up and down a few times, becoming you onward more.
It wasn't much further before you reached the end of the route. Before you could get too far into the takedown area, a security guard held you up, citing safety and some other nonsense to justify not letting you through.
You didn't hear much of it because your gaze fixed back on the cat as they immediately pulled her down and started pulling open her vent. She didn't stand a chance against the dozens of handlers when they pulled and tied and opened her vents up.
Your gaze widened and you started to take in a gasp, the security guard looking back as he followed your look. A long pained groan rolled out of his mouth. "Oh... she got you this year." You watched the air drain from the feline's backside, her look coming back your way. She tried to keep the smile on her face, but her eyes gave away her plead for help. The guard cleared his throat and got your attention for a moment, "Don't think about jumping the fence. It would be easier to follow the truck to the warehouse."
The last of the backlog, poor Tallu getting her air let out. This was the most fun to work with
carifoxleopard because we had to go back and forth a bit on her expression, to try and make the goofy, not sad look on her. I love the job she did.
