Gasping in shock, Neeva screamed in confusion covered in sweat. She aimed her arm canon around fearing for her life, only to realize there was no threat around. Shutting her arm off, she held her head in pain, feeling a horrible pressure similar to an hangover.



A familiar voice emerged from the doorframe '' can i come in?'' , Neeva replied with '' sure come on in'' recognizing the voice. Rann walked towards her and looked into her eyes, she did not reply confused about this whole situation. With a sigh of relief, Rann sat next to Neeva, gently rubbing her shoulder in comfort.




''Rann'' Welcome back, im glad the drugs finally wore off. Judging by your gaze, you don't remember a thing. To put it simply, your raid on the drug lab was a success, however you inhaled a dangerous amount of fumes.






Neeva's eyes began to glow, projecting the hologram of Lumi , she attempted to comfort Neeva too but her hand would go through her body.




''Lumi'' I had to forcefully knock you out, not my proudest moment but it was the only way to stop you from filling Yan with holes.




''Rann'' Don't worry about her, holes means little for a machine , the blood is just decoration. Though she had to explain the situation to Ozma.





''Lumi'' She said in exchange of allowing her to tag alongside you, she would lie about the whole situation. Blaming fiends for the bullet wounds and the reason you weren't there to report was because you had something urgent to do before hand.





''Neeva'' I remember vaguely.... Yan being confused i was not fully machines. Why was i affected by the drugs but not her?





''Rann'' Your brain is the only thing left of old Neeva, while a synthetic body can replicate the effects of drugs and alcohol, your brain couldnt filter how strong the effect could go. Meaning your body was not able to stop you from going psycho.





''lumi'' I would love to say you are safe but..... well Rann ...




''Rann'' Right, Lumi's robotic body can still hear her surroundings, your Kyn friend spoke ill of you and Merry. Ill as in he contemplated doing something drastic soon if things kept going the way they are.




''Neeva'' Did he hurt Merry!?





''Rann'' He did not, but the recording Lumi played are too damning to ignore. I suggest you pay him a visit, i told Merry to stay in her new restaurant location until further notice. I would like to join you but i am needed elsewhere, i am glad you are safe Neeva. Until we meet again.





''Neeva'' Thanks Rann.... Lumi, can you still control your body?
