"After that first date, we would speak on the phone for hours on the phone, talking about whatever came to mind... I couldn't help but feel so drawn to that silky smooth voice of his. He reminded me of another nation I knew, named Arthur.

We would write so many emails and letters back and forth, I had never been so familiar with my home computer, but for him I had to learn. He drew me in with every word, digital or otherwise.

I also had incredibly high phone bills.... Those international calls were expensive, he lived in Finland with his mom. He said his mom had high phone bills too.

In his letters, he'd sometimes have his mom open it by writing my name, but the difference between his and his mom's writing was so obvious hehehe! He had scribbly hand writing.

Every night, I could hardly sleep thinking about him, he plagued my mind, and my heart.

One day, he told me "_I have something to show you. Expect a package at your door soon._" I was so eager to see what he'd sent! Perhaps it was some of those funny Finnish gummies he'd told me about."
