And to think after that group photo would lead to a lot of crummy games and an increasingly frustrated and pissed-off time for myself as a result of poor networking and latency suddenly appearing out of nowhere. X( And even when our team should've won that other match, Lilithe from the other one singlehandedly made a comeback from bullshit mechanics that was otherwise favoring our team from the start. And it wasn't ultimately her fault; nothing was working whatsoever. I fired at her ten times, she shot once and picked me off. And then she had no disc when she hopped over a building despite throwing a disc the complete opposite direction with no ricochet, it got me and a teammate in the last round. I was so done with that shit that I screamed and stormed off. I'm very sorry for my attitude, Chevron. But please understand that all of that collectively culminating into some broken, confusing, and highly irritating happenstances - however legal they were - pretty much got to me and made me ragequit. I had it that evening. X(
Still... Thanks for not giving up on me and instead wanting me to come back that same evening. Granted, I wasn't told there'd be Prison Escape after - thought I'd redeem myself with Battle Discs R4 again and see if networking would be on my side that time - but I appreciate the invite just the same. Granted, all I did was just collect money and did my own thing, and even then, that was pretty irritating with the timer being absolute bullshit (when the clock said 3 seconds one game and 14 seconds another game before cutting out and saying the Guards won; it's like my computer telling me, "nope, fuck you"). As far as those games... I'm glad my random playing of tic tac toe by myself distracted the guards, allowing you to smoke 'em and win easily. lol
Hopefully the next game night - or, rather, the next games we play together - will be far less stressful and more fair on all of us. >w< I'm very sorry once again. ;_;
