"Hey there! What's cookin', good lookin'? You come here often? I know pretty much all of the regulars that come day in and day out, but I'm not entirely sure if I know you yet... Well if you'd like, how about we get to know each other a little better over some drinks, my treat! Don't be shy, my fangs may look pretty sharp but I promise I don't bite, hehe~"A super wonderful portrait piece featuring my demon lynx lady Kira, done for this year's Huevember challenge (Hue 16) and featuring her just being really chill and casual! Though it seems like she's noticed you looking her way and is actually pretty interested in you, if that look in her eyes is anything to go by, hehe~ No worries, though, she's definitely more than friendly and approachable enough once you get past the sharp-looking horns and big fangs! That aside, I really like how nice and calm Kira just looks in this kind of artstyle, especially with the combination of the thicker lines for the general outline and the thinner ones for all of the detailing, and how some areas are left without lines as well to add some interesting variation! It's definitely pretty simple, but very effective and quite pleasant to look at! Kira's pose and expression are just so spot on, really gives her that kind of easygoing and chill yet still somewhat playful kind of vibe... And I just really love how beautifully the background came out too, with the rose-shaped patterns and the black thorny vines twisting and winding their way all throughout, and the motif of it is definitely very fitting! The artist definitely did an absolutely lovely job with this, and I'm really pleased with how awesomely this piece came out overall~ <33

All very good questions!! To answer, I suppose my main wish for the new year would be to hopefully see some more positive changes. Especially with how rough this past year was with the economic situation and the ongoing war out East. Of course I don’t expect things to get better overnight because that’s not realistically how it works, but I hope that maybe there’ll be some kind of positivity to come out of 2023 even if it’s just a little bit!
2022 was more or less pretty alright overall, I’d say. There were certainly a lot of good things that happened, though there were a few not-so-good moments too… Like when I had received news from my dad about the sudden and unexpected death of my aunt on his side of the family who I was pretty close to while growing up. That really hurt a lot, and I wish I’d been able to see her one last time before she passed… Even now I feel like I’m still not fully over it, but I’m trying my best to keep pushing forward. But overall, I like to think it was a pretty decent year overall from a personal standpoint.
Mmmmm… That last one is a bit tough because I don’t usually like to play favorites. Really, as far as my OCs, Kira is my main ‘sona and naturally the one I feel most attached to personally, but I do love all of them more or less equally! 😊
