This is the result of me playing Naughty Bear. A game where you take on the role of a Teddy Bear going on a rampage.
During the Genetic Revolution a variety of bioengineered creatures came onto the market as various pets. One of the most popular of these were BioBears. Essentially living breathing Teddy bears. Created by taking bear DNA and adding just a dash of human DNA for a humanoid form and a little more intelligence. Bio Bears get to be about to be two and a half to three feet tall. Generally having a very pleasant disposition. Able to eat anything a person could and smart enough to understand human language and even speak they made the most deliteful pets for children as they were essentially a playmate. Adults unable to have a child could get one of these. BioBears however were given higher then animal rights though as it became apparent that their higher intelligence warranted it. Before that Biobears could find themselves in very unpleasant situations where they would be abandoned or sold to less then scrupulous characters who would use them for any number of purposes including medical testing and an underground betting sport known as bear fighting.
Tedd here is one such Biobear who found himself in the arena having been abandoned by his owner and caught and sold to be a fighter. During his time in the arena poor Ted accumulated many injuries and even once had his arm and leg torn off. Luckily he was a favorite fight bear so he received some medical attention to have them re attached. Another fight caused the loss of his continence. However he was favored for the human of seeing a diaper clad bear fighting in the ring. Ted is Seen here holding the two weapons he most often used in the ring and his means to escape.
"One day they didn't latch my cage properly and had left the weapons from the fight out. I knew that eventually if I kept up in these fights I'd get killed. So I got out of my cage and grabbed my weapons. I freed the other three or four bears in the holding room too." Ted told the journalist as he looked over said weapons.
"It must have been quite the traumatizing experience." He said noting the look of deep though on the bear's face.
"Yeah sorta. I was running on instinct. We were lucky they didn't expect an escape. Only ran into one armed guy on the way out. A hammer to his chest disarmed him and the knife....that was the only time I ever really did any damage to a human." Ted said as he sat the knife down on the table.
"What did all of you do after you escaped?" He asked very interested.
"Another bear suggested we call the cops. I think his name was Gruff. We all knew what they were doing was illegal. They'd talked about it a lot. So we found a pay phone and I boosted Gruff up and he made the call. Not ten minutes later a squad car pulled up to where we were." Ted smiled a bit. "The cop was surprised the call was real. He knew straight away looking at us we'd been fight bears. He called the station and told them we were for real and then had us pile into his car."
"Hadn't anything like that happened before? Bears escaping like that I mean." The journalist asked confused.
"Not really. Bears had escaped before but they'd always run a long ways and by them the fight guys had time to clear out. Plus the bears never contacted the authorities themselves. The human that found them did. We were the first to do what we did in mass. Guess we weren't the last though." Ted said as he looked over his hammer.
"I see. So you were the story that gave others the idea to do the same. What did you do next? After all that." The Journalist continued.
"Well first we were all taken to a hospital and checked out. Most of us were in Ok condition. Then we had our statements taken. We were set up with a temporary place to stat and when the story broke we all found homes fast. All of us testified against the guys that ran the fight ring. They got sent off to jail with what amounted to a life sentence. End of story." Ted said as he put the weapons back in the case which locked once he closed it.
"Well Ted it would seem you've had quite a time of it. Any last words for our viewers?" The Journalist asked with a smile.
"Well another thanks to all the people that adopt us former fight bears. It means a lot to us. And to any bears out there that come from a similar situation your not alone. If you wanna talk we have a site which should be one screen now. We've got a lot of resources. And lastly never loose hope or just give up. Life only gets better by living it." Ted said and finally cracked a small smile before the interview segment ended.
Well I hope you guys liked the pic and the story. Wow I didn't expect to do one quite this long for him but just came out. ^^
