thanks so much, i do believe he is a basenji mix, i looked at the info on the breed and it says they dont usually bark and this guy never barks, so it fits

im happy that it helped you. My dog is a basenji mix too and instead of barking he does a loud sound like if he was yodeling. Its very funny.

It's not that they don't make noise, it's that they yodel and make weird screamy noises instead of barks
