I thought of this as I was walking through the snow... I was walking about 4 miles and this popped into my head.
This is the very first poem I have ever written, so don't expect it to be perfect. It's amazing that I even wrote this, because I hate writing poems. Maybe after this, I might write more.
Snow is Falling
By Damian Kwiatkowski
Snow is falling,
people freezing,
people walking,
I am talking.
Snow is falling,
people leaving,
I stay walking,
I stay talking.
Snow is falling,
I am freezing,
slowly walking,
yet still talking.
Snow is freezing,
I am falling,
no one sees me,
I stop talking.
This is the very first poem I have ever written, so don't expect it to be perfect. It's amazing that I even wrote this, because I hate writing poems. Maybe after this, I might write more.

wow, thanks! I've never really written poetry before, and this happened while i was walking to walgreens. when i thought of it, i hurried to get there and quickly saved it as a note on my phone, because I have a really bad habit of forgetting things. Turns out i needed that note when I got home :)
well i guess the best suggestion is that with poetry. Emotion is the key make your poem feel alive. It doesn't necessarily have to rhyme or flow well together. Actually some poetry is just raw emotion meant to feel rough. And sometimes to get better in touch with the emotion of the piece you need to be in that mood. I can't think of any improvements cause i feel that a person style would be messed up by another person editing it. If you have any more questions feel free to send me a message.
