Before entering the main public library as part of the morning's holiday festivities, I just had to get this photo of K-O the Kangaroo noticing a sign on the door, saying that the only animals allowed are trained service animals, in sort of a semi-homage to the 1972 Peanuts theatrical movie "Snoopy, Come Home" (which turned 50 years old a few months ago!) where our favorite beagle keeps coming across signs blaring "No Dogs Allowed" ("That goes for birds!") Where's Thurl Ravenscroft when you need him? :P And also, today is the 100th (posthumous) birthday of Charles "Sparky" Schulz, so the timing is impeccable!
But of course they let K-O in, as he's visited several times before for other events.
