This was the first art I ever got of my pokesonas! Thanks, Casey! =D
Okay, context! Thanks to a bit of magic, we have a post-transformation moment, as me and my "twin brother" find ourselves as nidoran-dragons instead of [raccoon-dragons]. It is our first time becoming pokemon, and I am rather fascinated by how I have less fingers on each hand. Draygone is a little less optimistic, no longer having a tail to hide his pantsless rear end. =P
Anyway, nidorans are not normally a pokemon people pay attention to (unless you're [Aqua Bunny]). They're one of the monsters you find early on in Generation 1, and by the end of the game, they're likely to be swapped out for newer monsters. But when you've actually been a nidoran, you grow a certain appreciation for them.
That is what happened to me in 2011. I found a nidoran avatar in Second Life, and it was so adorable, I had to have it! Of course, my brother had to be one, too. We couldn't be twins if we weren't the same creature.
I would've missed my wings too much, so I decided that they should be transformed as well, instead of disappearing like our tails. (Most nidorans don't have tails. Only nidorinas, nidoqueens, and nidokings do.) It's pretty cool to be a poisonous monster, even if I don't have my tail, anymore. We also have spines on our backs, though you can't see them here 'cause they're between our wings. I should also mention that nowadays, I tend to go [feral instead of anthro] when I'm a nido, but I'm not apposed to being anthro.
Of course, my main fursona will always be a dracoon. But it's really neat having a pokesona, even if it's not full-time. =)
