The claws on top of those tanks, because you can't make an evil lab look too sinister.

They're not claws, they're.... latches. Yeah, that's it. You have to get the subjects in there somehow, right?

Most don't even consider that when it comes to this type of tank design.

Like movie prison cells without toilets…

.... You know, I never really noticed that in movies before. I just assumed they were always there, but never actually on screen for... reasons.

However, I did once write a story where that wasn't really a concern of the armed guards... I believed that I described it as, "A grown man could barely walk 3 paces from wall to wall.... and you don't even want to know what the "toilet" was." (Give or take as it's not a direct quote.)

However, I'd like to point out that it is a tank... there is a drain at the bottom for multiple reasons....

I think with a tank like that, I’ve just kinda thought that most physical functions were suspended.
