Very good work Tonite :) I left my compliments on Anhes's submission, so I'll just copy them here:
"Very sweet picture :) I love your work as always. The linework is beautiful, and Tonite did a great job of coloring! He has a great eye for color, something I've always enjoyed about his work. The colors he chooses make his pictures "burst" with activity. Your attention to detail is exotically wonderful, and I love the "in motion" poses you chose. It seems like you two are getting along really well :)"

If you are going to do lots of them as in this case I suggest to apply some noise filter in a layer above or better yet use a photo reference of real sky to give it a less artificial look, then paint more stars from different colors of your choice, as I did here for a more interesting sky, just a round brush and some airbrush for glow around it. Also I made a very brief video of the techique Im using currently, but I change it from time to time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGYP4DhROUg
