As a kobold, Lei is considered to be strange one among her clan. For one, she doesn't like it when other called her kobold. But as she grew older, she start to be more tolerant toward it. She always talk about setting out on her own to find her family which is quite a bizarre idea since her egg was hatch and raise from birth in the clan. Before she even reach adulthood, she would set out on her own. After being caught sneaking into one of the noble's house and causing a scene, she would get capture and sold to slave trader. It doesn't take long for a travelling performer troupe to bought her for manual labor until they found that she had a talent for dancing. They put her under training and have her perform for years. One day, an unfortunate fire accident happen in the camp. After the chaos, Lei was never seen again. Since her charred body was never found, they assume that she had make off to god know where. Some of with a more skeptical view suspect that she might be behind the so called accident.

Some travelers on the road might have heard of a red scale kobold with a mesmerizing step in her dance performing at the inn if they are fortunate enough to be at the right place at the right time. If their purse is heavy and are willing to spend, they might be able to get themselves a night to remember in more than one way.
