Whoa, I almost forgot... to present you this beastie. Meet... the Leohound.
You see, if you feel like she looks like a Hellhound from the Monster Girl Encyclopedia (such as this one: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/39285547/), it's obviously because she is based off of one. In more details, I've always liked the hellhounds from MGE, but something about them always rubbed me the wrong way. It's the fact that their skin color is grey all over, including on the face, and while I think it's a great distinctive feature, I also feel it ruins a certain degree of cuteness.
I'll skip the extra long story, but well... eventually, I thought, hey, why not try my hand at making a cousin species to the hellhounds? And there you have it, the Leohound. It was drawn by Akaacia a while back (and isn't representative of her current art level), and is essentially a fluffier, gentler version of the hellhound. Although they are still canines, they are more cat-minded. Lion-minded, in fact. They like having their own harem of monstergirls, and they like lazing and sleeping. The mane merging with the hair is one of their distinctive features as well as the excessively long tail and the human looking face as well. Eyeflames aren't mandatory and the grey part is skin, just like their cousins.
Sometimes, when I look at her, it kind of feels like it's Mana wearing a fluffy costume, which I think is adorable. Anyway, I did have the idea and all, but it's an open species naturally. So if you want to make your own, hey, go on.
But show me if you get good art!
Here's a fun fact to finish up... did you know that lions can mate up to fifty times a day? ;3
