while away on my maryland trip me and my friends decided to play a rousing game of jadeclaw, a furry rpg table top game based in mythical china. Never played a table top game before, but wow is it ever fun! Our game host said we've had some of the craziest adventures he's seen in a serious rpg game x3
Here's one scene that was worth mention. There we were, tracked down our target, the fox had information we needed about a the destruction that befell our employer's temple. Now I'm a weasel,a vagabond. I was simply hiding in said employer's wagon of holding to hide from the inspector, well, now to not be thrown in jail by the noble, I'm working for him.
So back to the fox, I was stationed on the roof, good little climbing weasel I am, and watched the fox make his moves. He soon felt danger and dashed into the butcher shop. Guess a 7 foot tall leapord with giant poll arms as the noble's bodyguards is a biiiiit scary x3 so against a 3d12 challange I braved the odds and ran, jumped, then landed on our prey! hap hazerdly x3 good thing I had luck, let me re-roll my botch on the landing part, still landed badly but better on him and with a fatique point than on the ground with a wound!
It was such a great show of awesomeness, and since I cut the scene time in half, since he was supposed to run off and we were supposed to find him in the park of the city, I was rewarded an extra experience point x3 the noble summoned up the dirt cloud around the fox so which helped slow him down, he to got a point x3
crazy happenings, crazy stuff. Might draw more from our adventure later.
Those involved were myrmidon-the giant snow leopard barbarian, neon- the noble with the wagon of holding, marl-the nearly dead, tiny bird tinier than my 3 foot weasel, sicker than any patient he's ever cured, doctor of a phoenix, and me-the vagabond weasel who jumps off buildings like altiar but has some work to do on that landing x3
