The door creeks open on sweet opal, having stolen every pillow in the house she built the most comfy fort and spent the night, playing knight. Her guardians, checking on her one last time will soon leave for around two weeks. She never knows where and only sees them a couple days at a time when they resupply the cabin.

Opal one of a few hybrids, a genetically modified pup was adopted by the cupple when she was to young to remember, they had long prepared for the collapse and built the small cabin early in '26 on the far side of a difficult mountain range with use of a portable saw mill. Out here with supplies for decades to come there was safety and peace.

Opal herself spending most of her time alone, with only few home made toys took to her imagination. Sticks and rocks where perfect swords and jems, the vast land surrounded the cabin her kingdom. The pupper would find her self lost in her guardians books some novels but she found a profound interest in psychology. Not getting to know other beasts she would use this knowledge to make her imaginary friends.

Ohhh goodness this took longer then I wanted x3 dew to a crazy error merging layers an leaving artifacting everywhere I had to spend twice as long salvaging the picture xp I'm still happy with how it turned out all considered an opal likes her cool nightlight so alas good ^^ I'll definitely be using her in a different capacity to the other characters, her story will be a bit separate. Anywho I'm back to sketching much more to come~<3
