Kowa was used to slipping away and starting a new life elsewhere, to help keep his identity hidden. well at one point he thought "why dont i just become a pet and get adopted, then i dont need to adult anymore!" so he switched to a feral form, when trying to start a new life again. He was lucky and got adopted pretty quick, and even more lucky got adopted by a pretty cute girl. there were a few downsides to his new life tho, for started they insisted he wear a muzzle..."i can live with this"
