with this trickling flickering fleck
of that watery wind

are sitting on a cradle of winter as
we spin in glass like those snowflakes fall

And the bitter freeze comforts us
with eyes absent under nothing as

embraced held swaddled swimming
drifting
and splashing

Tidal waves of the unexpected unforeseen
warmth in that frozen world my eyes crash open
And you see it now

The ice melt and it boils with such brilliant
bubbling oozing gushing heat

A new sun piercing my eyelids as I breathe
and everything breathes
shed of frost and in its place
the fractalized love
so vanish
into everclear absent night
