Commission for dwwrider on DA, the story idea is entirely his, I only took the liberty of compressing the conversations we had back and forth in to a singular thing to be represented here. :D

Myanna has seen and done a lot in her travels, and sometimes she even gets held responsible for that which she hasn't even done.

Myanna has the misfortune of bedding down in a town that has suffered massive crop failure, and someone on hand is aware of her true nature. Eager for a scape goat the town is quick to turn on Myanna and corner her in the inn where she is collecting her things. With a massive amount of physical combat ahead of her, Myanna "conscripts" the woman in the neighboring room via the Vitality Harness spell to help her make an exit.

Melissa Greene is a strong willed, intelligent, and feisty woman. The Harness is extended past the standard coverage to keep better control of her and together the two are able to clear out the inn and hit the road. But Myanna finds out quickly there is something odd about the local forest she retreats to, it has a will of its own and refuses to take any part in the growing conflict. Meanwhile the mob has successfully petitioned the local Duke to dispatch a large force of his best men.

With the two making their way through the forest on foot, with options running out...even with the regenerative qualities of the harness Melissa is beginning to show fatigue, and her body seems to be taking on more plant like properties from the harness than expected. The large torch bearing force catching up, and is right on their heels on the forest path....
