Some friends of mine really liked the piece with Deluxe Paint III's UI in the image along with my CRT edits, so I'm gonna put that into scraps (Edit: I've taken it out of scraps since you all seem to like the effects and UI addition a lot also) and link the original to here, please check out the original for more context and the original look.

Also i had no idea the UI of that program looks so cool. I mean, it is the 80s after all B)
Deluxe Paint III has a very nice GUI, I can agree, and a fun fact about it - the colours of the GUI change in regards to the users selected palette, meaning the program itself doesn't take up any colours to function, since it uses what the artist decides is the palette for the art piece, while also giving a slight bit of customization.
Also if you like how Deluxe Paint's GUI looks, you should see how Amiga Workbench 1.3 looks haha.
when drawn on a CRT oddly makes them super detailed when looking at a LCD
There's a few ways to loosely mimic the effect like my take above, but it won't ever be as perfect as just displaying pixel art on a CRT.
