You struggle against the kelp or whatever the plants are, scratching at the walls of the pool and trying to escape. They drag and twine around you, clinging to your limbs and pull you down. You can see the green spreading, but you struggle all the same, even as your legs seem to melt and bend more and more.
Your feet melt, paws forming from the blob of goo, followed by your hands, webbing growing between each finger. You whine, breathing in the water somehow as you manage to break free, even if it's too late to stay human. Several tails, once plants, lash and sway discordantly, the feeling strange and foreign but not unpleasant. Your new muzzle parts as something blooms on your head, any remaining panic draining away as you figure out how to swim in this new form, no longer fearing of drowning.
