The only thing I love more than coffee is serving it.
I recently commissioned this beautiful sketch from
kashmere, to which I was invited to try my hand at colouring. Well, I tried!
I hope I did it some justice - I absolutely love this sketch and had a blast colouring it!
Don't worry about that cup falling, she's a pro ;)

holy damn your colouring skills flatter the sketch work so well! Like floe said there are way too many things to compliment on but out of all of them I have to at least mention your choice in palette. the soft coloring to the background is almost aurora like, full of beautiful blending colors that compliment the character as upposed to distracting from it. Secondly Kappy's fur looks silky and vibrant. Her brown tones have an almost copper like shimmer to them, very purdy!
great job as always!

Why rush to the conclusion of a nice story? The introduction and the main bodies of the story are just as important [to serving tea]!
I have always found the culture of sharing food and drinks for an afternoon tea of different places around the world to be very interesting. For example, in Morocco, it is considered an art form to pour your tea with the pot as high as possible from the cup as a way of impressing your guests since it is considered an art form over there. Not too sure about this one in your image, probably a sultry book variety with a bit of a teasing plot in between. ;)
I think the shading did the outline a good justice by the way, it looks vibrant and alive to me. :)
