The Bones of a Dying World
A wonderful commission I recently completed for Sharlan.
I'm really loving this piece still, it's such a wonderful concept.
It truly gave me the chance to stretch my skills and show off what I've learnt this year.
Here is something Sharlan wanted to accompany the piece:
"Let the sadness in, accept it and let go. You aren't betraying your sorrow by being happy tomorrow.
Let the happiness in, accept it and let go. You aren't failing at being happy if you are sad tomorrow."
I suppose joy and sadness can't exist without the other, they're more like family to each other than rivals.
