getting any reference for Robotech II the sentinels was fairly tricky since I needed some sort of visual study to get the uniform right.
Part of me wonders if the alpha battloid in the back looks a bit squat but looking at a few screen shots it does look rather short, still not sure though.

I must have built at least one of each variant of the Southern Cross convertible fighters in the late 1980s. Nice to see it again. In fact, I liked the "Transformable" Alpha fighter because the cockpit retracted into the aircraft's fuselage without the model having to be disassembled and reassembled using extra parts like the Macross Valkeries did.
Alpha fighter broughts back a lot of my childhood memories, so happen last week i began rewatching Genesis climber Mospeada and it feels good again to get in touch with my childhood memories again. the alpha, beta was the fav mecha until todays, in a way alpha sort of inspire my own fursona pen name.
